I'm an American and didn't discover the glory of the Christmas Goat until last year. I'm VERY excited for the webcam's return in a few days. I think you should take bets on the longevity of the goat, starting from the day you put it up, and whatever funds you raise (through the day of its demise) should go to a special charitable organization...maybe a children's orphanage, for Christmas presents. Thank you for sharing a wonderful tradition and this website w/webcam !! I have here in NYC a Julbocken, 20" tall, very beautiful, of straw, and, YES, it is Swedish, from Sweden !! It is 'guarding' my ceiling-high live Christmas tree ..The red bow is placed on its (pleated..) upturned tail .. Several smaller, cute, also Swedish mini-goats, with little red bows on their little pleated tails are prancing all over my Christmas tree among glass mouthblown ornaments..
